When you think about Enid Blyton’s Secret Seven, you imagine ginger beer, picnics and adventures…..the ‘Southworth ‘Seven’ are the modern day version and taking adventure to a new level with a sprint triathlon– raising money for their chosen charity – Kinder Mountain Rescue!
John Southworth’s has chosen to support Kinder Mountain Rescue through fundraising this year, to provide much-needed money for the voluntary emergency service – that saves many lives each year.
Whilst the team’s support will help equip Kinder Mountain Rescue volunteers for the fantastic services they provide, none of the Southworth Seven are fully equipped for the journey ahead of them (yet!) and with the event looming – will they be able to complete the challenge? A 500m Swim, 21K cycle and a 5K run…. not your average day!
