The Development
John Southworth and Great Places Housing Group worked collaboratively on this new and exciting scheme, delivering twenty-five 2 and 3 bedroomed timber-framed houses in Higher Blackley, Manchester for social rent.
Located just over four miles from the city centre of Manchester, the development provides easy access to the motorway network and public transport. Along with local schools, parks, and entertainment facilities, Victoria Avenue is close to Blackley Forest, a local beauty spot, offering scenic walks, making it a great place for families to live.
Designed to meet Manchester Space standards, the development, part funded by Homes England, has transformed a former derelict brownfield site, with a former, disused, youth club, into much needed, affordable homes to rent in the area.
