John Southworth and Bolton at Home worked collaboratively to deliver a total of ten bungalows and three houses on this new development in Farnworth, Bolton, following a traditional construction method. The land on this site was transformed into a community predominantly for the elderly, who had specific needs.

Conveniently located within just two miles of Farnworth town centre, with excellent transport links, this development had great access to local amenities. With local parks and beauty spots nearby, Dean Close also provided the perfect place for residents to unwind and go for a stroll.

Being on the site of a former quarry carried engineering challenges. John Southworth’s expertise started from the ground upwards completing this development to schedule, despite all the challenges of a pandemic.
