John Southworth and Care Housing worked collaboratively on this scheme to deliver a bespoke conversion of this adapted multi-occupancy dwelling.
Located on Penistone Road, in Waterloo, a suburb in the characterful market town of Huddersfield, the main aim of the refurbishment of this property was to enrich the lives of the tenants residing there.
The property was enhanced internally with redecoration, flooring and carpeting throughout, new doors, new kitchens and bathrooms. There was also a full rewire of the property carried out to bring the electrical supply up to date. For the finishing touches, the property was personalised to the tenant’s choices.
Externally, enhancement continued with a re-roofing, consistent with the original, attractive design of the property. Railings and fencings were also fitted around the perimeter of the property along with modifications to the garden for improved accessibility.
