Enville House achieves Outstanding Considerate Constructors score

Our Enville House development in Ashton-under-Lyne has achieved an Outstanding 95% score following its recent Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) assessment.

The project is transforming a circa-1900 building into 12 self-contained apartments, which will provide accommodation for people who have experienced homelessness.

Following the visit, Enville House achieved:

for Community95%
for Environment93%
for Workforce96%
for overall – rated Outstanding95%

The assessor highlighted the commitment shown by the team on what is a relatively small and constrained refurbishment site, noting that health and safety standards were maintained to the same level expected on a much larger project.

The report also recognised the work taking place beyond the build itself. This includes apprentices working across the business, a local college trainee gaining experience on site, the use of local builders’ merchants and M&E contractors, and support for the local LEAP Children and Families initiative.

With Enville House due to complete later this year, the Outstanding CCS result is a brilliant reflection of the team on this project.

We look forward to seeing the finished scheme and the difference these new homes will make in the local community!
