Considerate Constructor Parkmount

We’re delighted to share that our Parkmount development in Harpurhey has achieved an outstanding score of 43 out of 45 from the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), earning Excellent ratings across all three categories (Community, Environment and Workforce).

Delivered for Mosscare St Vincent’s as part of Manchester City Council’s Project 500 programme, Parkmount will provide 24 new timber frame homes and apartments built to Passivhaus standards, setting a high benchmark for sustainable, low-energy housing in the region.

Best Practice Highlights:

  • Ongoing engagement with the local community to manage parking, deliveries, and noise, ensuring a positive relationship with neighbours.
  • A designed-in 10% biodiversity net gain and use of Passivhaus design principles to deliver sustainable, low-emission homes.
  • Active collaboration with Tameside College and local schools to support ConstructHER, host site visits, and offer apprenticeships and placements.
  • Excellent health, safety, and welfare standards on site, including CHAS Elite accreditation and well-maintained facilities for all workers.
